Compound Adjective (যৌগিক) কাকে বলে?
Compound Adjective (যৌগিক)
Compound মানে যৌগিক।
অর্থাৎ একটি word+আরেকটি word এইভাবে কোন Word গঠিত হলে তাকে বলে Compound word।
আর Compound Word যখন Adjective এর কাজ করে তখন তাকে বলে Compound Adjective।
যেমনঃ-
two+month+long=two-month-long(দুইমাস ব্যাপী)
five+year+old=five-year-old (পাচঁ বছর বয়স্ক)
out+of+date=out-of-date (সেকেলে)
There will be a two-month-long meeting.
I want a five-year-old girl.
This is an out-of-date house.
Compound Adjective: যে Adjective একাধিক word নিয়ে গঠিত, তাকে Compound Adjective বলে।
Example: We share a seven-year-long friendship.
