Interrogative Sentence ( প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য )
: যে Sentence দ্বারা কোন প্রশ্ন করা হয় বা কোন কিছু জিজ্ঞাসা করা হয় অথবা
কোন
কিছুর
প্রত্যুত্তর পাওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে জিজ্ঞেস করা হয় তখন তাকে Interrogative Sentence বলে।
তাকে Interrogative
Sentence বা প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য বলে ।
যেমন :
1. আমি কি বই পড়ি ? -Do I read a book ?
2. সে কি স্কুলে যায় ? - Does he go to School ?
3. জেলেরা কি মাছ ধরিেতেছে ? - Are the fishermen catching fish ?
4. মা কি রান্না করিতেছে ? - Is Mother cooking ?
5. আলিমা কি টাইপ করিতেছে ? - Is Alima typing ?
6. চৈতী কি খেলিতেছে ? - Is Chaity playing?
7. স্বপন কি কাজটি করিয়াছে ? -Has Swapan done the work ?
যেমন :

word+auxiliary verb+sub+principal verb +Ext.+?

An interrogative sentence asks any questions to get a reply to
something or someone and ends with an interrogative sign (?).
One of the two following ways may form an interrogative
sentence.
1. It may begin with Helping verbs and Modals Auxiliaries.
Auxiliary Verbs: am, is, are - was, were - have, has, had, etc.
Modals Auxiliaries:
shall, should, will, would, can, could, may, might, etc.
Example:
o Do you need some
money?
o Is he your
Brother?
o Should I call you?
1. May begin with
“WH” questions like who, where, when, whom, what, which, how, etc.
Example:
o What is your
address?
o Whom do you want?
o How much money do
you want?
