ADVERB OF DEGREE or QUALITY

The word which expresses degree or quality is called adverb of degree or quality. They are : very, too, enough, much, so, extremely, almost, little, fairly, wholly, rather, only, somewhat, partly, half, fully, largely, more, hardly, almost, together, quite, any etc. (The test question is how much ? or to what extent ? or in what degree ?)
Uses of adevrb of quality
Examples
George is very intelligent.
The fox proved too clever for the crow.
The milk is hot enough, drink it.
Is he much stronger than you are ?
You are so late that you can't take the examination now.
This story is extremely funny.
Are you ready, madam? Well, I am almost ready.
He is a little doubtful about his success.
She is little worried about her studies.
Let us go in the afternoon. The buses are fairly empty then.
You are rather fat. You must eat less.
You are wholly mistaken about her.
I have only two oranges.
